Nature has dressed the land of Kallepeia with its most beautiful colours. Steep cliffs, rich valleys with lots of wild vegetation and cultivable pieces of land constitute a scenery of unique beauty.
The beautiful village of Kallepeia is crossed by the river ‘Ezousas’ and its side rivers, ‘Ammati’ and ‘Kalamos’. This river, especially in the old years, used to be a ‘life source’ for the farmers. On the river banks there are many species of wild vegetation such as willows, pine trees, Cypresses and large terebinths.
There are also many natural springs which flow throughout the year. These are: the spring of ‘Rinos’, of ‘Ammatis’ and ‘Kalamos’. At some point, the springs are connected creating the well known river of Kallepeia. All three springs are mainly used during the summer months for the irrigation of fruit trees and vegetables.
The main cultivation of the village is vineyards. Actually, Kallepeia is one of the first vine villages of Pafos. Other cultivations include apple and lemon trees, orange trees, almond and carob trees, grains, seasonal vegetables and to a less extent, olive trees.
What is worth mentioning is the fact that the Community Council has created greenery areas, particularly three parks, a camp site, bushy and woody habitats.
