My fellow villagers, ladies and gentlemen,

Enjoy the gorgeous village of Kallepeia with its magical scenery, the natural environment, the splendid climate conditions and the fresh air and coolness of the summer. Kallepeia is a picturesque village with very hospitable and polite residents.

During the last few years, Kallepeia has defeated rural depopulation and convinced the youth to stay in the village and many expatriates to return forever. Decades ago, the village numbered 600 residents. Rural depopulation decreased this number to 150. Today, the village numbers 350 residents, from which 200 are locals, while the remaining 150 are European Citizens.

The close distance of the village from the town of Pafos, which is only 13 kilometres, constitutes one of the most important reasons for attracting visitors.

Additionally, Kallepeia is one of the first communities in Cyprus which have been integrated in the project of Agrotourism. Kallepeia, after it was integrated in Agrotourism and with the infrastructure created for this purpose, began to attract more and more people.

The operation of community offices, the hiring of an employee with daily working hours, the computerization of the services, the completion of infrastructure projects by the Community Council, as well as the polite and forthcoming attitude towards every simple person, either resident or visitor, has boosted the growth of our community.
